New York, N.Y. - This past Saturday, I attended the Intercollegiate Broadcasting System Conference and awards ceremony, where I represented WRSU-FM Rutgers Radio. It was an incredible experience to network and celebrate with talented radio and TV peers from across the country — and even internationally.

I’m grateful to announce that I’ve received two Intercollegiate Broadcasting System awards alongside Briana Perez and Jacob Falkenstein!

Briana and I received "Best Video in a Radio Station" for capturing Crown Euphoria's performance on our live music show, Overnight Sensations. I remember wrapping up the show at midnight and diving straight into video editing. By 3:30 AM, I'd finished a series of videos to promote the performance. I never thought one might be submitted for award consideration, but hard work (and strange hours) paid off.

Along with Jake, Briana and I also received "Best Station Blog" for our written coverage of Gov Ball, WDHA FM's Rocking the Rock Fest, and other live music shows. I'm proud of our team's hard work, dedication, and storytelling.

Huge shoutout to finalists Alfonso Sollecito and Priscilla Senger for also representing WRSU at the awards. And thank you to IBS - Intercollegiate Broadcasting System, Inc., our broadcast administrator Mike Pavlichko, my fellow station members, our alumni, and our listeners for your support!
